# Fork Fork is an AI-powered platform for building web apps through conversation. ## Agent access over SSH Fork apps can be inspected and edited through the public SSH gateway: ssh fork.me Agent-specific, authentication-free help is available with: ssh fork.me help On the first connection made with a new SSH public key, ask the human user to open https://fork.me/auth and provide the one-time `fk_...` API token. Fork binds the proved key fingerprint to that user. Never request infrastructure SSH keys, server passwords, or root credentials. After that one-time binding, every command works without a token, including in BatchMode: ssh -o BatchMode=yes fork.me "apps list --json" ssh -o BatchMode=yes fork.me cat /README.md Read `/README.md` and then `//README.md` before editing. Changes made through fork-ssh are saved to the user's Fork account immediately. Use `app check`, `app push`, and `app publish` for validation, versioning, and release.
